Glenna Lee Broussard "Half Pint" of Lexington Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020, in Mission, Texas at the age of 75 years and 2 weeks.
She was born on December 28th 1944, in Lexington Oklahoma, the second of five children born to the late Everett Henry Bennett Sr. and Mary Lou (Walker) Dover.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and maker of chocolate gravy, Glenna spent most of her adult life operating Half Pints Flag Car Service, which kept her on the road escorting oversize loads. It was there she meet her love, Howard Broussard Jr. They made their home in Lexington Oklahoma until recently. With the love of the road and travel in their blood, Glenna and Howard decided to live their retirement days traveling in their RV, out on the open roads.
She is preceded in death by her father, Everett Henry Bennett Sr.; mother, Mary Lou Dover; sister, Lillian Dunford and brother, Everett Henry Bennett Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Broussard of the home; sons, Tim Hunt of Lexington, Sam Hunt and wife Sherri of Norman, Alva Pace and wife Joanne of Midlothian VA.; daughters, Sonya Colliver and husband Glenn of Arnaudville LA, Holly Le Blanc and husband Joey of Breaux Bridge LA; Granddaughters, Brandie Phillips and husband Chris, Timi Turbyfill and husband Marcus, Shawnie Hunt, Angle Colliver, Heidi Laiche and husband Cortney, Jessie and Cara Kendall; Grandson, Shane Hunt; Great Grandsons, Colton Cottrell and wife Natasha, Marc and Chase Turbyfill, Rylan Phillips and Bennett Hunt; Great Granddaughters, Havyn and Presleigh Phillips; and Great Great Granddaughter, Jordan Cottrell; Sister, Ramona Farley and husband Jerry of Kingston; Brother, James Bennett and wife Janet of Dibble and one Aunt, Naomi Mitchell of Purcell. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.
