Betty Ann (Schultz) Bross was born November 25, 1947, in Enid, OK, the daughter of Merl Raymond and Phyllis Deloris (Humphreys) Schultz. She completed this life on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at the age of 70.
Betty was raised in Pond Creek, OK, where she graduated from high school in 1966. She continued her education at Central State University (U.C.O.) where she earned a Bachelor's and a Master's degree. Betty worked as an executive assistant for the Oklahoma Student Loan Authority where she retired after many years.
Betty married Merrill Wayne Bross on July 15, 1978. He preceded her in death on June 30th of this year, two weeks short of their 40th wedding anniversary.
In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her father; her sister-in-law, Wilma Shults and her husband Johnny; and her brother-in-law Rick Perry.
Betty is survived by her mother, Mrs. Merl R. (Phyllis) Schultz of Pond Creek; her daughter, Amanda Bross of Edmond; her son, Adam Bross of Oklahoma City; her sister, Jane Schultz and her brother, Richard Schultz both of Pond Creek; her uncle, Woody Hawkins of Oklahoma City; and her sister-in-law Anna May Callahan of Arcadia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
