Former Tecumseh resident Timothy Alan Brookshire Sr., 61, died Monday, March 19, in Gainesville, Georgia.
He was born December 1, 1945, in Illinois.
Timothy worked in the physical therapy department at Mission Hill Memorial Hospital for ten years.
He later worked at Firelake Discount Foods before moving to Georgia.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Brookshire and son, Christopher Alan Brookshire.
Survivors include his wife, Paula, of thirty eight years of Tecumseh; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Jr. And Rudeana Brookshire of Elk City; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Nim Hayes of Shawnee; daughter, Amber Brookshire of Tecumseh; seven grandchildren, Nicole and Michael of Tecumseh; Derek, Cassandra and Robert Lee of Shawnee; and Christan and Robert Alan of Shawnee; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Eddie Deweese of Oklahoma City; and Jeff and Mattie Deweese of Elgin, Texas; long-time friends, JoAnn Ashworth, Danielle Bruno, Joey Herron, Ron Gibbs, Doug and Cherie Seere; and numerous other friends and relatives.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Avoca Church of Christ near Asher.
