Tonkawa Rites Monday for Mrs. Rose Brooks
TONKAWA, Feb. 9- Mrs. Rose Brooks, 79, longtime resident of this city, died Friday at her home, 105 North Jenkins, and funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Methodist Church, Rev. Douglas Fleming officiating.
Burial will be at Sherman City, Kans. under direction of McCafferty funeral home. She was born at Cherryvale, Kans., March 4, 1872.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merritt J. Brooks, who was woodwork instructor at NOJC for a number of years.
Survivors are three sons, Paul of Tonkawa, John of Richmond Heights, Mo., and Mark of Newport, Ore.; three brothers, C. R. Anderson of Seattle; John Anderson of Fairmont, Ill., and C. U. Anderson of Danville, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Kate Headley of Bartlesville
