Charles Danul Brooks was born at Roll, Oklahoma on March 5, 1935 to Georgie B. Simpson and Walter Wyatt Brooks.
He passed away September 29, 1976.
Charles attended Cheyenne School until he went into the Army on January 17, 1955.
Charles served in Korea and Vietnam and was discharged as a Staff Sergeant.
He made his home at 203 Eva Drive in Clarksville, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris; his daughter, Linda Campus; and his son, John David of the home; one grandson, and his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brooks of Sayre, Oklahoma; also three brothers John Henry Brooks; George Louis Brooks of Elk City, Oklahoma; and Freddie Brooks; one sister, Esther Crandall of Cheyenne; and a number of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
His mother and three brothers preceded him in death.
Interment was in Fort Donelson National Cemetery, Dover, Tennessee.
