Gerald "Jerry" Edward Brittt went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2021, Oklahoma City, OK, with his wife and daughters by his side. He lived a long and rich life spent dedicated to his family and so many others who were blessed to know him. Jerry’s commitment to his faith and family was the driving force of a life well lived that will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched. He always put God first and lived an authentic life, full of generosity. A memorial service will be held on January 11, 2021, at Mercer-Adams in Bethany, OK.
Jerry attended and graduated from Bethany Nazarene College in 1964, where he met his wife, Claudia Jeanne (Chilton) Britt. In 1965, Jerry and Jeanne married and enjoyed over 40 years living in Phoenix, AZ.
Jerry leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his wife of 55 years, Jeanne Britt; daughters, Renee Bogar and Scott (husband) of Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Andrea Bailey and Trace (husband) of Piedmont, OK; grandsons, Tanner Bailey (16), Cannon Bogar (16) and Trayden Bailey (13).
