Mellinee Louise Bristow

March 18, 1911 ~ May 2, 2006

Mellinee Louise Bristow passed away on May 2, 2006, in Arvin, California. She was 95, born March 18, 1911, in Canadian, Oklahoma.

Mellinee and her family moved to Arvin in 1946, from McAlester, Oklahoma.

Mellinee was preceded in death by husband, Andrew Wesley Bristow Bill", son, Billy Ray Bristow and seven siblings.

Mellinee is survived by her two daughters, Louise and Jim McKee of Arvin and Evelyn and Bob Sadler of Bakersfield. Her grandchildren include: Kenny and Teri Sadler, Jennifer and Tim Johnson, Kurt Sadler, Kimberly Thingstad, Patrick and Silver Farr, Mary Ann and Dennis Burke, Janie Maison, all of Bakersfield, Kathy McKee of Utah, Brent McKee of Arvin, and Wesley and Maribell Bristow of Riverside. She also leaves behind 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Our Granny will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Viewing will be Sunday, May 7, 2006, from 2 - 8 p.m., at the Arvin Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 8, 2006, 10 a.m., at the South Kern Cemetery District, in Arvin.
