Jean Bristow, 88, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was born in Gruver, Texas on February 7, 1932 to Frank Fleck and Bonnie Tenney. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crafting and family genealogy. Jean loved spending time with her family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Clovis, New Mexico. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Bob Thompson; husband, Dan L. Bristow; sons, Steven Dale Brock and Marc "Butch" Bristow; sisters, Frances Fleck, Ella Hahn, and Bonnie Ruth Follette; and brothers, Nick Fleck and William (Bill) Fleck.
Survivors include daughters, Niki (Buddy) Powell of Thackerville, Mati (Jeff) Tharp, and Danise (Eric) Gallaway of Marietta; sons, Larry (Debby) Bristow of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Robert (LaFaun) Brock; grandchildren, Laurie Ann (Richard) Roper, Bill Ray (Traci) Thompson, Beth (Zack) King, Jilin Henson, Darby Tharp, Kalley Tharp, Macey Tharp, Addison Gallaway and Aldan Gallaway; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Mike (Cathy) Fleck, Billie Lou (Doug) Key, Donna (Earl) Worstell, Nick Follette, Frank Follette; and all their families.
Visitation will be held from 1 until 4 p.m. Friday, January 15 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Boulevard Southeast, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
