Charles E. "Tuffy" Brinlee passed away on May 30, 1997 at the local hospital in Los Banos at the age of 77 years.
A native of Roll, Oklahoma, he came to California with his mother and father in 1936 at the age of 16 years.
Mr. Brinlee was a ranch foreman and drove a tractor for many years in the Los Banos and Dos Palos area for many years.
In his earlier years he was a cattle driver in the rolling hills around Los Banos area.
Tuffy was proud to serve his country in United States Air Force from 1941 to 1946 as a staff Sergeant.
Preceded in death by his parents Charles Brinlee {1959} and Dottie Brinlee {1977} and one sister Monte Ivy {1977}, Clarence {1994}, Clyde {1960}.
Survived by his wife Eula Brinlee of Los Banos, four sons, one step son, three step daughters, and one daughter. Survived by two sisters Una Lippencott of Los Banos; and Lavada Boswell Haworth of Nevada.
Funeral services were held at the Whitehurst Chapels in Los Banos.
Mr. Brinlee was buried with full military honors at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine, California.
