Roger L. Brinker passed away Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma at the age of 66. He was born Sunday, July 21st, 1957, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Wayne and Oma (George) Brinker.

Roger attended Wann Schools, graduating Class of 1975 Wann Warriors. He worked for several manufacturing facilities in the area including Halliburton where he became a skilled welder, a skill that gave him an ability to get work anytime he wanted it. He was married three times that his family is aware of and had at least 4 or more kids from mostly different relationships (Were not entirely sure). He was engaged to be married five additional times that didn’t result in marriage but did increase the size of family and friends. Papa was a rolling Stone… He may have once worked in gas compression but specialized in laying pipe.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, L. Wayne Brinker.

Roger is survived by his mother Oma and brother Steve Brinker of Wann, Oklahoma; brother Larry Brinker of Muskogee, Ok; sister Shirley and husband Farris “Bub” Miller of Mounds, Oklahoma; two sons, Andrew and Heather Brinker of rural Coffeyville and Robert Brinker of Coffeyville, KS; two daughters, Amy and Kurt Taylor of rural Edna, KS and Amber and Braulio Flores of Wharton, TX; a handful of grandchildren; many cousins, nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 19th at 10:00am at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Noxie, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, his kids ask that donations be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities to help sick children and their families
