Neil Joseph Bridendolph of Bartlesville Oklahoma passed away on April 16th, 2023, in Tulsa Oklahoma. Neil was born on February 17th, 1950, in Kansas City, Kansas where he lived until he was 10 years old. He was the oldest of five children born to Harvey Bridendolph and Marie Hodges Bridendolph. The family then moved to Bartlesville Oklahoma where he graduated from Bartlesville College High in 1968. At the age of 15, he met Sandra Whitchurch. They married June 7th, 1970. During their 32-year marriage, they had three children and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. They remained close friends until his death. He remarried later in life to Sharon (Sunny) Hammond. Neil worked in industrial maintenance and finished his career at Bama Foods in Tulsa Oklahoma. He loved his work and teaching the next generation.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Harvey and Marie and a brother James (Jimmy) Bridendolph. Also, his second wife Sunny.
He is survived by three siblings, Ruth Thompson, Bill and Cheryl Bridendolph, Bob and Jamie Bridendolph, His first wife Sandra Bridendolph, Their three children Steven, Susan and Sean Burrow, and Lisa Brown and Steven Welk. He also had several grandchildren Patrick and Jessica Butcher, Micah Bridendolph, James (JR) Kennet, Rebecca (Becca) Bridendolph, Matthew Bridendolph, Trey Choate, James Burrow, Trenton Choate, Erin Bridendolph, Daniel Emerson, and Charley Welk. Great Grandchildren Lydia Bridendolph, Baylor Bridendolph, Jaret Butcher, Emma Butcher, Hunter Bridendolph, Beau Bridendolph, and Rowan Butcher.
He always said he had two great loves in his life, Sandy and Sunny. But the love he had for his kids, grandkids and greatkids was unmeasurable. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Thursday April 20th, 2023, `from 9am to 7pm. The family will be present from 5pm to 7pm for anybody who would like to pay their respects. Services will be held Friday April 21st at 10:30 am at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
