The services celebrating and honoring the life of Joyce Lynne Brezina, 85, of Enid, will be held privately. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Joyce Lynne “Hudgens” Brezina was born on August 8, 1936, on a farm one mile east of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma to Lloyd Hudgens and Ruth “Haynes” Hudgens. Joyce passed from this life November 24, 2021, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Joyce was raised in Cleo Springs, Oklahoma where she graduated from Cleo Springs High School in 1954. Shortly after graduating high school on August 18, 1954, in Perry, Oklahoma Joyce married the love of her life Frank Brezina Jr., a union that would last 67 wonderful years. To this union would come 2 wonderful children. Joyce and her husband made their home in Enid where Joyce worked as a secretary in the construction industry for 18 years. Joyce was also the very first female grocery salesperson in the state of Oklahoma.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Frank of the home; two children Terri Potter, of Oklahoma City, Larry Brezina and wife Linda, of Bison; Heather Emery, Brent Brezina, Cristy Southards, Matthew Potter, Emily Steen; and eight great grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
