Edward Eugene Amlong Brewster

June 11, 1967 ~ April 24, 2009

Funeral services for Edward Eugene Amlong Brewster 41 of Locust Grove have been rescheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday May 5, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Locust Grove with the Reverend James Duffell officiating. Burial will follow at the Amlong – Brewster Family Cemetery south of Locust Grove. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Locust Grove.

Edward was born June 11, 1967 in Pryor, OK to Joe Brewster and Ruth Pinegar. He died April 24, 2009 in Little Rock, AR after an accidental drowning. He grew up in Locust Grove and after high school he served our country in the United States Air Force serving four years.

He married Kristi Snyder January 31, 1986 in Pryor. The couple returned to Locust Grove to raise their family where they were active members of the First Baptist Church. As a lifetime resident of Locust Grove, he was known for clowning around and was adored by all that knew him. Edward was an animal lover especially mules. He was a loving husband, son and father that will be greatly missed.

He is survived by: Wife Kristi of the home Son- Shane Brewster and wife Destiny of Anchorage, AK Daughter- Amber Brewster of the home Granddaughter- Alexis Brewster His mother and the father that raised him Ruth and Bill Stipes of Locust Grove 3 Brothers- James Dale Amlong, Terry John Amlong and Billy Ray Stipes all of Locust Grove 3 Sisters- Celina Sanders of Locust Grove, Kim Carver of Las Vegas, NV and Lois Willis of Pryor His Mamo Ellen Harvey
