Ernest Mitchell Brewer, son of Aaron F. and Juanita M. (Humble) Brewer was born September 16, 1930 in Lowell, Arkansas and departed this life to be with our Lord on November 15, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 1 month and 29 days.
He was a dedicated soldier and served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and a lifetime member of the DAV. Ernie loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters; Nina Martin and Aarlene Noland.
Ernie is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Ruth Brewer of the home in Stilwell, Ok, 3 step sons; Jack Walls of Warren, OR, Dick Walls of Beaverton, OR, Norman Walls of Hood River Valley, OR, 3 step daughters; Linda Jones of The Dalls, OR, Janet Crider of Lewiston, ID, and Caroline Walls of Arizona. 3 sisters; Delphia Douthit and Penny South, both of Springdale, AR, Gayle Roastingear and husband Arthur of Stilwell, OK, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Memorial services will be held, Monday, November 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Victory Baptist Church with Bro. Don Varble officiating. Arrangments are with Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
