Visitation for H. Price Brazell, 78, of Enid, will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Cremation will follow, with a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Price was born December 10, 1934, in Covington/Garber Oil Field to Hanan and Nettie Raby Brazell and passed away November 13, 2013, in Greenbrier Nursing Home. Price attended and graduated from Garber High School in 1954.
He married Darlene Powell March 19, 1955, in Winfield, KS. Price worked at Colemans Plant in Wichita for three years. They moved to Eldorado, KS, where he worked as a store man for Jones & Laughlin, later moving to Moore, OK, working for eight years. He transferred to Tulsa for five years, later moving to Houston in 1972 as a buyer. In 1979, they came back to Enid, where he worked for Fluor Oil Field Supply as a store manager until 1983. They moved back to Tulsa to work for Norris Oil Supply as field manager, retiring in 2005. They moved back to Enid in 2006. He was a member of Garriott Road Church of Christ. Price loved old cars and the Garber community.
Price is survived by his wife, Darlene of Enid; two grandchildren, Zackary James Brazell of Midland, TX, and Samantha Blair Little of Dallas, TX; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Linda and husband Joe Goddard of Edmond, and Nancy Thompson of Covington, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Greg Brazell.
Memorials may be made to OMRF - Alzheimer's Division, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the fund.
