Mary Margaret Bray open the doors to Heaven on June 12, 2023. Mary was born May 15,1938 to Milton Anthony Dorr and Betty Gibney Dorr in Baltimore, Maryland. She also lived in West Virginia, and Washington DC during her childhood and her last residence was in Lawton, Oklahoma where she lived with her eldest grandson Dennis Allen for many years.
She married Clyde Lisbon and together they had six children. In 1981, she graduated from Western Oklahoma Practical Nursing program where she vigorously studied her passion of taking care of others and practiced nursing for many lucky patients. She truly loved nursing, excelling in geriatric nursing and obtained numerous awards for her dedicated efforts in the field. While she enjoyed nursing and her career drove her passion, Mary also loved travelling along with seeking adventure and thrills at the casino. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and was lovingly opinionated in all of their lives.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, as well as her brother Milton and two daughters Laurie and Wanita.
She is survived by four children. Pete (Jane) of Sayre, Ellen Terry) of Milton, FL, Cole (Ramona) Burnsflat, OK, and Wade of Milton, FL. She has 19 grandchildren and a host of great children.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service. Per Mary’s wishes there will not be any public service.
