Marianne (Howell) Branstetter, 76, resident of Barnsdall, Oklahoma of 30+ years passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019.
Marianne was born September 29, 1943 in Knoxville, Tennessee to parents Martin Houston Howell and Mary Opal Pittman.
Marianne graduated from Paso Robles High school and later went to Questa College of San Luis Obispo, California. In 1961 she received a certificate in Broadcast Journalism and Radio Sales. She worked at several places throughout her life including Barnsdall Nursing Home, Central Coast Properties, and Solid Gold 104.5FM. Marianne enjoyed making Native American Jewelry, bead working, sketching and listening to classic country and gospel music.
Marianne met and fell in love with George Owen Branstetter and the couple later decided to get married.
Marianne is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Martin Howell and a grandson, Sean Phillips.
Marianne is survived by her three sons, Tony, Billy and Joshua; two daughters, Monika and Lisa; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1:00pm Friday, December 13, 2019 at Lighthouse Worship Center in Barnsdall, Oklahoma.
