Danny Joe Branstetter of Caney, KS died October 3, 2017 at his home. He was 56.
Danny was born December 16, 1960 to Daniel Branstetter and Juanita (Fern) Hays at Bartlesville, OK. He retired from the United States Army in 2006 as a Chief Warrant Officer 2, serving in Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and two tours in Korea. He worked as a Mechanical Technician.
He married Judy (Walter) Branstetter in March of 2001. Danny was a true patriot, he loved and served his country with great pride. He enjoyed fishing, collecting artifacts, Oklahoma Sooner Football, and spending time with his family, and he especially adored his mother.
He was preceded in death by two uncles: Johnny Hays, and Kenneth Griffith. Along with one step-daughter: Jennifer Brown.
He is survived by his parents. Three children: Nyssa Branstetter of San Antonio, TX, Daniel Branstetter of Peru, KS, and Jonathan Branstetter of Brighton, CO. One brother: Ernest Branstetter of Bartlesville, OK. One sister: Cara Staudinger of Bartlesville, OK. One aunt: Norma Ingalls, and two uncles Leo Hays, and Ronnie Hays all of Hominy, OK. Along with six grandchildren.
