Harold Lee Brannon of Stilwell, OK, passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 79. Mr. Brannon was a lifetime resident of the Rocky Mountain Community, and was born on April 22, 1941 to the late Carlis Denton Brannon and Ellen Frances (Latta) Brannon. Harold married Patricia Faye (Wells) Brannon, and together, they had two Children, Harold Thomas Brannon and Andrea Lee Brannon. Harold’s passion for farming and agriculture led him to spend his lifetime working on his farm in Rocky Mountain. He was a prominent strawberry farmer, and always looked forward to attending, and showing his berries at the Stilwell Strawberry festival. Harold was one of a kind, likes his tomatoes and strawberries he talked so highly of. He was a well-respected, hardworking man who never met a stranger. He loved to brag about his grandkids and great-grandkids! He will forever be missed by his family, friends, and community. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents.
Harold is survived by his wife Patricia Faye (Wells) Brannon, and their two children and their spouses, Harold Thomas Brannon and Jane Alice (Provence) Brannon of Cove, AR, and Andrea Lee (Brannon) Ross and Randy L. Ross of Stilwell, OK. His grandchildren, Cody Thomas and Samantha Jo Brannon of Stilwell, OK and their three Children, Tyler Shane Brannon of Westville, OK and his three children, Brooke Ashley Ross of Stilwell, OK and Callie Elizabeth Ross of Stilwell, OK.
Also, he is survived by his brothers and sisters. Gene Brannon and wife Deloris of Stilwell, OK, Estell Brannon and wife Shirley of Hungry Mountain, OK, Cora Jones and husband Gerald of Stilwell, OK, Reba Hitchcock of Westville, OK, Frances Baird of Stilwell, OK, Eva Newman of Hungry Mountain, OK, Beverly Mathews and husband Rafe of Hungry Mountain, OK, and Brenda O’Neal of Stilwell, OK.
