Margaret "Margie" Branch, 91, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away on June 18th, 2020 in Bartlesville. Margie was born on October 30, 1928, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to parents William and Hazel (Comstock) Couch.
On December 21, 1946, she married Stanley F. Butler in Girard, Kansas. Margie did social work for the Missouri Department of Social Services in Joplin, Missouri. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern State College. She later taught first grade at Sarcoxie Public Schools in Sarcoxie, Missouri. She was an avid reader.
She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley F. Butler in 1982. She later married Bob Branch, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, John Butler and his wife Robyn of Sugar Land, Texas, her grandsons, John Butler Jr. and his wife Sarah of Omaha, Nebraska and James Butler of Sugar Land Texas, her stepdaughters Patti Zeiders of Houston, Texas and Carol Sanders and her husband Jerry of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Her nieces and nephews, Randy and Judy Tomlinson of College Grove, Tennessee, and Kay Tomlinson of St. Louis Missouri.
Private family services will be held. Those who wish to make donations in memory of Margie may do so to Journey House.
