Dale Emmert Brallier, 69 of Rogersville, MO was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday December 30, 2006 at Cox Hospital South Springfield, MO.
Dale was born on August 7, 1937 in Curlew, IA to Evan Lowell Brallier and Hazel Marie [Rouse] Brallier who preceded him in death.
On October 12, 1963 in Denver, CO Dale was united in marriage to Twilla "Pat" Welch, daughter of Burnie and Rosie Welch.
Dale was a 35 year resident of the Rogersville area, who along with his wife founded Sportsman Pickup Covers / E.D. Industries and Sportsland Automotive Accessories, which are still in operation today.
As a young man Dale was always an entrepreneur in many different endeavors ranging from chicken farming in Mexico City, Mexico, to programming some of the earliest computers for IBM in Chicago, IL. Dale taught automotive school in Wichita, KS in the late 60's and then moved to the Rogersville area where he started his business that currently exists. Dale was a very generous and loving man devoted to his wife, family and friends. He was happiest working in his shop, gardening, improving his land and spending time with his loved ones, as well as the challenges of business.
Dale was a founding member of the Light Truck Accessory Association (LTAA), a member of the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) and a member of the Rogersville Chamber of Commerce.
Surviving is his wife Pat Brallier of the home, two sons: Steve Brallier and wife Kirsten of Rogersville, MO, Randy Schamberger and wife Ann of Houston, TX; Two daughters: Debbie Maves and husband Charlie of Sennibor, Wis. and Judy Seldomridge and husband Bill of West End, NC; Two sisters: Janice Duncan and husband Howard of Evergreen, Colorado and Betty Gripe and husband Bill of Weatherford, OK; 10 Grandchildren: Alanna Brallier, Grant Brallier, Preston Schamberger, Brennan Schamberger, Melissa Sprasky, Elizabeth Ehmann-Kollipara, Josie Maves, Cono Burton, Rebecca Burton and John Burton; 7 Great Grandchildren: Brooke and Nicolas Sprasky, Courtney and Truman Burton, and Katelyn, Cole and Kamryn Bivens.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday January 3, 2007 at the Preston-Marsh Funeral Home Rogersville, MO. Burial was in the White Oak Cemetery. Visitation was from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Donors Choice. This is not goodbye, it is goodnight. We will all be together again soon.
