Alfred James Bradley was born June 23, 1903 in Lone Oak, Arkansas and passed away on July 25, 1979 in the Elk City Community Hospital after an extended illness at the age of 76.
In 1928, he came to Cheyenne from Avery, Texas and has lived in this area since that time.
On August 24, 1957, he married Rose Lee Stone at Pampa, Texas. She preceded him in death in August of 1965.
He is survived by one sister, Georgie Harrison of Reydon; one stepdaughter, Lois Goewey of Nebo, Illinois; two stepsons, Ronnie Sparks of Houston, Texas; and Harold Ray Stone of Germany; four step grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
He has been a member of the Baptist Church since 18 years of age.
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 27, 1979 for Alfred James Bradley in the First Baptist Church, Reydon with Rev. A. L. Martin officiating.
Interment was in the Shamrock Cemetery at Shamrock, Texas under the direction of Rose Chapel.
Pallbearers were Raymond McNeil, David Danks, Bob Swartwood, Tom Green, Bill Swartwood, Jerry Swartwood and Bill Harrison.
