Services were held on Monday, December 1, in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for Virginia Lee Bradford, 85, who passed away November 28, 2003.
Mrs. Bradford was born on August 26, 1918, in Frederick, Oklahoma, and had resided in Kern County for 65 years. Mrs. Bradford had been an educator for 20 years
She is survived by her sons, Phil and Bob Bradford.

Graveside services were held on Monday, December 1, 2003, at Greenlawn Cemetery, 3700 River Blvd., for Virginia Lee Bradford.
Virginia was born in Fredrick, Oklahoma, and resided in Bakersfield for the last seventy years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charles Bruce Bradford.
She returned to school after raising two sons, Phil and Bob, and attained a Master's Degree in Education. She retired from the Bakersfield City School District as a resource specialist.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Phil and Linda Bradford, Bob and Rondi Bradford; and grandchildren, Jill, Philip, Jr. (Butch), Patrick and Julie Bradford, and Brandi Medley, Laurie Zulfa; thirteen great grandchildren; a brother, Jack Brase of Fresno; and a brother-in-law, Johnnie Brown.
The family wishes to thank Drs. Kevork Bouldoukian, Romain Clerou, and the fantastic staff at the Trinity House for their care and comfort.
