Lloyd Wayne Boyster age 56, of Purcell, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, after a short battle with glioblastoma multiforme. He was born on September 28, 1961 in Salinas, California. He was the middle child of three children born to Louis Wesley Boyster and LaVerda Emmaline (Gibson) Boyster. Lloyd grew up in Poteau, Oklahoma and attended Poteau schools. He loved being in the outdoors and working with his hands. Throughout his life he enjoyed camping, fishing and riding motorcycles. His family called him a jack of all trades, for he could fix and repair almost anything. He lived and worked in Oklahoma City for 35 years before moving to rural Purcell in 2012. Lloyd worked in route sales most all of his life and was currently working for Deli Express where he had worked for many years. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them at the lake on camping and fishing trips. He also enjoyed watching football especially the Oklahoma Sooners.
He was preceded in death by: Mother, LaVerda Slusser, Father, Louis Boyster, Grandmother, Eunice Ellenberg, Sister-in-law, Barbara Warren, Father-in-law, Billy Warren;
He is survived by: Wife of 30 years, Tammy Warren-Boyster; Daughters, Amber Montelongo, Dawn Bankston, LaTrisha Ibendahl and fiancé Zach Ginn; Son, Bobby Joe; Former sons-in-law, Jason Ibendahl and Louis Montelongo; Brother, Billy Boyster, Sister, Brenda Coverdale and husband Robert; 8 grandchildren, Cassie, Joe, Cameron, Twila, Braeden, Heaven, Amberly and Ian; Brothers-in-law, Michael Warren and Kenneth Warren his best friend; Sister-in-law; Linda Anderson; And numerous nieces, nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, Jan 5, 2018 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.
