Jo Ann (Locklin) Boyett

May 14, 1930 ~ October 30, 2009

JoAnn Boyett 79, of Del City Oklahoma passed away on October 30, 2009.

JoAnn was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Luther & Bessie Locklin.

She was a loving wife, mother, and a doting grandmother.

JoAnn was a member of the Del City Church of Christ for 46 years. She was very involved and in her later years was active with Sisters Keepers, a support group for widows.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Luther & Bessie Locklin, her husband Leburn Boyett Jr., her brother Ray Locklin, and her beloved niece Marsha Mitchell.

She is survived by her sons David Boyett and his wife Anne of Midwest City, Oklahoma, their sons Davin Paul Boyett and his wife Suzy of Claremont, California, their daughters Christina & Elizabeth; her Nephew Luther Locklin and his wife Judy of Oswego, New York, their children Patrick & Melissa; nephew Lynn Avery of Midwest City, Oklahoma, his children Carson & Kyle and their mother Leigh Anne Avery; sister-in-law Janie Avery of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Jerome Mathias, Nurse Tracy Love, and Midwest City Home Health; JoAnn's home health aide Betsy, Senior Home Companion Mrs. Margie, and dear friend Geneva Oaks for all of their love, care, and support.
