Harlan Eugene Boyett was born October 20, 1935 in Glendale, Arizona to Odis and Eva (Barrow) Boyett. He passed from this life March 13, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 75.
Harlan married Dolores Terry November 4, 1961 in Carson City, Nevada and together they raised three children. He enjoyed "helping" the grandkids pick up rocks and prickly pears out of the yard and watching Gun Smoke. Harlan especially loved playing with his grandkids and spending time with his family and friends at Arpealer's.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Odis and Eva Boyett; a sister: Pauline; and three brothers: Junior Boyett, L.V. Boyett and Jesse Boyett.
He is survived by his former wife, Dolores Boyett of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; children: Tami DeShiell of Rattan, Oklahoma, Gena Boyett of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Terry Boyett and wife Donna of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; two brothers, J.T. Boyett of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Joe Glen and wife Helen of Amarillo, Texas; three sisters, Lilly Mae Arms and husband Lawrence of Hopland, California, Nadine Thomas and husband Mac of Antlers, Oklahoma and Mary Anna Arpesler and husband Bill of Rattan, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Michael and Aspen Boyett of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Natalie and Kenneth Coffman of Shawnee, Oklahoma, John and Whiney DeShiell of Weatherford, Oklahoma, David and Emily DeShiell of Sobol, Oklahoma, Thomas DeShiell of Rattan, Oklahoma, Jacklynn, Ashley and Megan Boyett all of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, eight great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a as well as a host of other family and friends.
