Jimmy (Jim) Lee Boyer of Yukon, OK stepped into the presence of his Heavenly Father December 27th, 2018. He was born into this earth on December 8th, 1936 and grew up in El Reno, OK, where he began playing the guitar and singing at a very early age.
Jim spent many years as a professional musician and was known as a consummate entertainer, sharing the stage with some of country music's most popular artists including Conway Twitty, Marty Robbins, and Jerry Lee Lewis among many others.
In the 1980's Jim worked as a DJ in Fayetteville, AR and ran a full Marathon near the age of 50. Later in life, he resided in Bethany, OK and worked as a contract painter across the Oklahoma City metro.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of many years, Kathy; his parents, Harry & Jewel Boyer and sisters, Geraldine Crooks & Ruby Mae Boyer.
He is survived by his six children; Debbie & husband David Barton, Dianna Boyer, Brigitte Lloyd, Mellanie & husband Brian Kibel, Tanya & husband Greg Hite and Cody Boyer & wife Mandy. He is also survived by his brother, Bob Boyer & wife Pat and was blessed with 20 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren.
Jim was a source of joy to all who knew him and his presence will be greatly missed.
