Glenn Wayne Boydston

Glenn Wayne Boydston
March 13, 1959 ~ August 27, 2023

Glenn Boydston age 64 of Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2023. Glenn Wayne “Red” Boydston was born on March 13, 1959 in Purcell, OK to Jerrald DeWayne Boydston and Betty Marie Boydston (Lindsey). He was raised in the Wayne area and attended school there, graduating with the Bulldog class of 1978. While in school he attended Vo-Tech and earned his mechanic certification.

After graduating, he began working for Bob Miller Chevrolet and spent several years there as a mechanic. Glenn found love later in life when he married Andrea Lang on Valentine’s Day of 1997. They were inseparable and always enjoyed fishing at Pauls Valley Lake and Texhoma. Glenn was an accomplished fisherman and even enjoyed hillbilly handfishing. Every spring he put in a big garden and loved sharing his fruits and vegetables with family and friends. The last few years, his life has been centered around his grandchildren Zoey, Keeli, and Alexandria who he loved dearly. Glenn faced adversity in life and always did his best to overcome and have a smile on his face to share with everyone he met. He had a big personality, was always quick with a handshake or a hug, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Jerrald and Betty Boydston, his brother Gary Boydston, and his wife Andrea Boydston.

He is survived by his brother Jerry Boydston and wife Lousie of Purcell, OK, his sister Debra Craig and husband Curtis of Asher, OK, his grandchildren Zoey Farrow, Keeli Todd, Alexandria Cooper, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 10 o’clock Friday September 8, 2023 at Little’s Chapel, Wilson-Little Purcell. Send online condolences at www.wilsonlittle.com.
