He was a veteran of World War II and had made his home in Odessa, Texas for the last 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou of the home, four sons, Billy Jack of Lewisville, Texas; Ree Lee of San Diego, California; Kenneth Wayne of Dallas, Texas; Quinten Jon of Odessa, Texas; and one daughter, Linda Winler of Odessa, Texas, one brother, E. B. Bowman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 3 sisters; Virginia Ledbetter, Amarillo, Texas; Alice Erwin of Amarillo, Texas; and Madilen Scott of Albuquerque, New Mexico, also five grandchildren.
