Mrs. Fannie Bell Bowers was born at Princess, Mississippi, February 8, 1853 and died March 9, 1939 at the age of 85 years and 36 days of age.
She was united to the Methodist church at an early age and remained until her death.
She was married three times: first to Mr. Tate Benson; second to Monroe Goforth; and last to Mr. William Jacob Bowers. Two of her daughters, Iris and Maud Bowers and one stepson, Ben Bowers preceded her in death.
She is survived by and leaves to mourn her death, two daughters, Pearl De Redder and Fannie Holloway of Carson, Mississippi; four sons, Frank Bowers of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Carl Bowers of Lamesa, Texas; Ralph Bowers of Bassfield, Mississippi; and Monroe Goforth, of Lamesa, Texas; two stepsons, Tom Bowers of Sayre, Oklahoma; and Walter Bowers of Paris, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Interment was made in the Dawson County Cemetery, Lamesa, Texas, Friday afternoon.
