Donald Lee Bouska Sr.

Donald Lee Bouska Sr.
August 3rd, 1932 ~ August 13th, 2020

Donald Lee Bouska Sr. passed peacefully Thursday, August 13th at the age of 88 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ella Bouska, Gladys Bouska, Erma Demeter, and daughter/son-in-law Deborah and Mike Huelett. He is survived by his 2 sons, Don Bouska Jr. (wife Debra) and Brendon Bouska (wife Karen), his 4 grandchildren: Jeremy Bouska, Andrea Jackson, Taylor and Evan Sprayberry, Brian Bouska, great grandchild Camden Bouska, Mona Freeman (mother and grandmother), along with many close friends.

Don had a long career as a Masonry Contractor. He received a 50-year Construction Industry Service Award from the Oklahoma City Home Builders Association serving the greater Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. He enjoyed life to the fullest with family and friends before and after retirement. He loved watching Thunder basketball and OU Football with the neighborhood “backyard crew”.

Don will be remembered as someone who would always offer a helping hand, warm home gatherings, and great friendship. He will be truly missed by all residing in the hearts of those who knew him.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond, Oklahoma.
