Belinda "Katy" (Burton) Boston
February 9, 1958 ~ July 6, 2014

Belinda "Katy" Boston was born February 9, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas to Richard and Wanda Burton. She passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at her home in Oktaha, Oklahoma at the age of 56.

Belinda grew up in Brazoria County, Texas, where she resided most of her life. After graduating from Brazoswood High School, she helped run the family club businesses, Tips and Pat's Place. She thrived in the atmosphere of the club's, where she developed her sharp business sense.

In 1984, Belinda married Robert Boston, and later moved to Oklahoma to be closer to family. Belinda had one son, Jarrett Boston whom she loved dearly. She later became a Wal-Mart associate where she worked until her death. Her hobbies included, reading, listening to all types of music, dancing, watching old classic movies, gardening, but most importantly, spending time with her family. "Katy"or "Katy Bug" as she was lovingly called, will always be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Belinda was preceded in death by her father Richard Burton.

She is survived by her son, Jarrett Boston of Clute, TX; mother, Wanda Burton of Oktaha; sisters Beverly Alexander and husband, Robert of Sweeny, TX, Sandra Jones and husband, Darrell of Lufkin, TX; brothers, Gordon Burton and Justin Burton of Oktaha; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives along with many friends.

A memorial service celebrating Belinda's life will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Checotah, OK with Pastor Larry Montgomery officiating.
