Kelly Rebecca Bosshardt, of Madill, passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side, on December 28, 2024, at the age of 66. She was born on December 16, 1958, in Abilene, Texas, to Robert and Francis (Jackson) Harper. On March 11, 1976, Kelly married the love of her life, John Bosshardt, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Professionally, Kelly worked as a paint foreman for Six Flags Over Texas. This allowed her the opportunity to use her talents and meet many people. Her friendliness towards others brought smiles to all she met. Outside of work, Kelly enjoyed reading, crocheting, and she loved animals. She also enjoyed the outdoors and any opportunity to go fishing.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, John Bosshardt, her son Chris Bosshardt and wife Amber, and her daughter Angela Brothers and husband Brian. Her legacy lives on with her grandchildren Jasmine Bosshardt, Ava Bosshardt, Owen Bosshardt, and Dylan Brothers. She is also survived by her sister Kathy West.
Preceding her in death are her parents Robert and Francis Harper, and her brothers Casey and Jerry Harper.
Cremation services have been selected, and no memorial is planned at this time.
Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 North 5th Street, Durant, Oklahoma 74701. www.holmescoffeymurray.com
