Willow Park - Carolyn Sue Born passed from this life Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the age of 74 in her home in Willow Park, Texas.
Graveside Services: 2 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2019 at Annetta Cemetery, Annetta, Texas.
Carolyn was born January 1, 1945 in Enid, Oklahoma to Calvin Lloyd and Ozella A. Vanover Haley.
She attended school for 12 years and graduated from Drummond High School in 1963. She married Harold Dean Born on August 29, 1964 at St. Luke's Methodist Church in Enid, Oklahoma.
Carolyn worked for Champlin Oil Company at their Enid office until it closed and then transferred to their Fort Worth office. She worked 30 years in the administrative offices of Champlin Oil Company, Union Pacific, Union Pacific Resources, and XTO.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Ozella Haley; and her husband, Harold Born.
She is survived by her children, Terry Ray, Ruth Born, and Traci Renee Born, all of Willow Park; brother and sister-in-law, Calvin and Judi Haley; sister, Pat Irwin; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Myrna Eck; three nieces; three nephews; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her long time Schnauzer Companion, Suzie.
