Jim Boren a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Sunday, November 3rd, 2024. He was 73 years old.
Born on August 28th, 1951, in Seminole, Oklahoma, Jim spent most of his life in his cherished hometown of Maud. In his later years, he enjoyed residing in Meeker and Shawnee, Oklahoma. He will be deeply missed by his four children: Brac Boren of Apple Valley, Minnesota; Latisha Brandt of Edmond, Oklahoma; Nancy Gambill of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; and Samantha Kirk of Tecumseh. He also leaves behind a legacy of love for his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Jim's life was filled with simple joys. He cherished spending time with his family, cheering on his beloved Oklahoma Sooners and Green Bay Packers, and indulging in his favorite treat, Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies. His kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew him. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
