Darryl Bordeaux, 53, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in Oklahoma City.
He was born May 5, 1966 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Lenard and Dorothy (Smith) Bordeaux.
Darryl was raised in the Shawnee/Tecumseh areas and attended Tecumseh Christian Academy.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Darryl worked at Buford White Lumber and retired from the Shawnee Police Department after 20 years of service.
He enjoyed working on cars, playing catch with his son Lawson and was an avid OU Sooner Fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lenard and Dorothy Bordeaux; and his grandparents.
Survivors include 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Jacklyn and Butch Cantrell of Shawnee, OK and Darylen Bordeaux of Tecumseh, OK; 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Evan and Brittni Bordeaux of Shawnee, OK and Lawson Bordeaux of Tecumseh, OK; 6 grandchildren, Ella, Emersyn, Brooks and Eastyn Cantrell, Hartlee and Eva Bordeaux; 1 sister, Debbi Cruz of Shawnee, OK; 1 brother, Lee Bordeaux of Tulsa, OK; and other extended family and friends.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Faith Christian Outreach with Reverend Travis Hurst officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
