Sharlene Booth

April 28, 1940 ~ April 29, 2005

Graveside service, Friday, May 6, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary. We will be celebrating the life of Sharlene Booth on May 6, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary, 2739 Panama Lane.

Sharlene was born on April 28, 1940, in Warner, Oklahoma. She came to Bakersfield in 1957, where she passed on April 29, 2005. She loved flower gardening, crossword puzzles and watching all the cooking shows. She dedicated 25 years of her life caring for her severly disabled son until her health started to decline three years ago. She was a great mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Sharlene is survived by her children, Troy Sanders, Tracy Sharp and Kelly Booth all residents of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Steven White and Samantha Sharp both residents of Bakersfield; Johnny Sanders, resident of Los Angeles, as well as siblings, nieces, nephews and many friends. She will be missed and fondly remembered. Pastor Milt Cole will officiate.
