Susan Bridwell Bonnett passed away due to a heart attack on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Dallas, TX. She was 64 years young. Susie was born March 1, 1953 in Bartlesville, OK to Herb and Ruth Bridwell. She was a 1972 graduate of College High School and attended Oklahoma State University. Susie lived most of her life in Bartlesville but moved to Dallas to be near her brother and sister.
Susie was proud to be recognized as an ADDA certified drafter. Susie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as gardening and visiting with friends and family. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She never met a dog she did not like.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Patrick "Joe" Bonnett and his wife Katie Morrison Bonnett; her grandchildren Kaydence Maureen Bonnett and Jase Tucker Bonnett; sister, Nita J. Bridwell of Tucson AZ; brother, John G. Bridwell and his wife Jeri Lynne Fink Bridwell of Dallas TX; sister-in-law Mary R Bridwell of Cypress TX; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews which include Kimberlee Nicole Bridwell Copeland of Pasadena, TX; Ellen Fuente Maples of Pflugerville, TX; Todd Bridwell of Beaumont, TX; Justin Glenn Bridwell of Denton TX; Jewel Ruth Bridwell Ybarra of Dallas, TX.
She was preceded in death by her father Herbert A. Bridwell, mother Ruth Bowman Bridwell and brother Thomas Andrew "Andy" Bridwell.
