A Celebration of Life for Patricia "Patsy" Kay Bonnett, of Enid, will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Patsy was born April 20, 1940, in Enid, OK, to Homer and Martha (Sattelmeier) Moormann, and passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at her home.
Patsy graduated from Garber High School. In 1958, she married Jim McDaniel at Breckenridge Lutheran Church. To this union, two children, Dana and Tim, were born.
She worked in Enid for many years as a hairdresser. She loved being outdoors gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family. Patsy was an animal lover and adored her Scottish Terrier, Molly.
Patsy married her late husband, Bruce Bonnett, in 1980 in Las Vegas.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Dana Emerson and husband Guy of Bixby, OK; son Tim McDaniel, of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Shirley Holding and husband Jerry, Susie Postier, Connie McGolden and husband Murv, Nancy Tucker, and one brother, Butch Moormann and wife Kim, all of Enid. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; former daughter-in-law Marleen Leier, of Ringwood; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Martha Moormann; husband, Bruce Bonnett; brothers; Don and Larry Moormann; and two brothers-in-law, Bud Postier and Sam Tucker.
Memorial contributions may be made to Enid SPCA, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
