Betty Rose Bolin the daughter of Alvin Louis and Mildred Odessa (Waddill) Edwards was born August 24, 1931, in Brady, Texas and departed this life on January 6, 2022, in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 90 years, 4 months and 13 days.
Betty loved life and was very active in her community for many years. She graduated from the University of Arkansas, Ft. Smith, and was an LPN by trade and was a member of the Arkansas LPN Association. She served in a nursing capacity for over 36 years. She was also active with Kiwanis, Friends of the Library, Emergency Food Pantry, Adair County Resource Center, the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Stilwell, the Community Choir and was a member of Stoney Point Extension Homemakers Club. Betty touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years Andrew Bolin; and her son Larry Joe Bolin.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her children LeaAnne Johnson and husband Ted of Elkins, AR and Michael Wayne Bolin of Stilwell; her sister Carol June Davis of Baytown, TX; her grandchildren Aaron Doyle and wife Jennifer of Springdale, Derrick Doyle and wife Robin of North Richland Hills, TX, Spencer Doyle and wife Candice of Fayetteville, James Bolin of Stilwell, and Andrea Bolin of Littleton, CO, and three great-granddaughters Adrienne Doyle of Springdale, AR, Chloe Doyle and Daphne Doyle of North Richland Hills, TX, and one great grandson Blake Doyle of Fayetteville, AR. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
Funeral Service was held 2:00 PM, Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Hart Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK
