Naomi Bogdahn, 93 year old Woodward resident, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Woodward. Visitation will be held at the Billings Funeral Home on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. She will be buried at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Coldwater, Kansas. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Naomi Jean (Metzger) Bogdahn was born on September 1, 1927 in Wilmore, Kansas to Eddie and Rutha Tempa Ellen (Case) Metzger. She grew up in Wilmore and Coldwater, Kansas and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1946. Naomi lived in Wichita, Kansas for a period of time before moving back to Coldwater where she worked at the local Drug Store. She worked as a Pharmaceutical Rep traveling Kansas and Oklahoma. Naomi moved to Woodward in the late 1970's and has lived there since that time.
She was united in marriage to Carl Bogdahn on September 29, 1985 in Woodward. They enjoyed traveling and spending time together.
She enjoyed cooking, traveling and visiting her family.
Naomi is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and her husband Carl in 1994.
