Rev. Irvine Bobb Jr.

Rev. Irvine Bobb Jr.
August 30, 1951 ~ December 29, 2020

Rev. Irvine Bobb Jr was called home to Glory on December 29, 2020. Born on August 30, 1951, in Port Arthur, Texas, Irvine was the son of Isabell and Irvine Bobb Sr.

Sandra and Irvine were the only children born to this union. When Irvine Bobb Sr. married for the second time (Joyce Broussard), Sandra and Irvine gained other brothers and sisters. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Port Arthur, Texas, with the class of 1969. Irvine's parents preceded him in death.

The dedicated and faithful pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church for 20 years in Newkirk, Oklahoma, and Irvine employed for 20 years at Evergreen Life Services. A dedicated employee, Rev. Bobb knew that his job was also a part of his ministry. Irvine loved the Lord and was always ready to visit the sick, share his testimony and preach and teach God's word.

Irvine married Angela Roland in August 1999. With this marriage, Irvine gained two step-children (Lameisha Roland and Nikko Mitchell) and two grandsons - Julius and Hezekiah Mitchell. Irvine dearly loved them.

Left to cherish Irvine's memories are his sister, Sandra Bobb Brown, niece, Regina; Brown, nephew, Pierre Brown (Cole); great-nephew, Christian Brown; aunt, Emma Bruner; sisters include Madgalyn D. Browning, Jacqualine-Foreman (Glen), Olivia Bob, Katherine Sells and Bernadette Bob. Sidney and Mark (Tammy) are the two living Bob brothers and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Our families will be forever grateful to the dedicated doctors and staff of St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma, for the care of Irvine.

Due to the COVID crisis, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
