Jacklyn Ann Boatman

Jacklyn Ann Boatman
April 9, 1974 ~ January 1, 2023

Jacklyn Ann Boatman, 48, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023 in Shawnee.

She was born April 9, 1974 to Jackie “Jack” and Joyce (Oliver) Boatman in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Jacklyn was a free spirit full of life, extremely trustworthy, independent and a strong woman who could tackle just about anything. If you were to visit her you could count on 3 things; 1) a swimming pool; 2) a hot tub; 3) a tanning bed.

She loved working on home improvement and knew more about power tools than most women. She loved being outdoors alongside her beloved dog, painting, or drawing while fishing, hanging out with the guys and practicing her swing, or planting her favorite flowers.

She would often dive deep in her thoughts about what? You never know. She always looked forward to seeing Dara counting down the days. She knew what she wanted and what she stood for. She often enjoyed riding her motorcycle, sometimes solo or in a group.

She was unique and sometimes wild, but she was a good girl with a full spectrum of love on many levels. She was absolutely beautiful and departed this life without saying goodbye. Our life is but a vapor. Only the good die young. We would be lying if we said we will not miss you.

God speed dear friend, mother, daughter and little sister. Forever and ever shall you dwell in Gods kingdom. Amen.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Boatman.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Daralyn and Bradley Parham of Spokane, WA; father, Jack Boatman of Shawnee, OK; 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law, Jana and Trent Sisney of Oklahoma City, OK and Jayme Boatman of Shawnee, OK; and many loving friends and extended family.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Chapel with Reverend Keith Ward, Taproot Church, Shawnee, OK, officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
