Together with his wife Cindy, they enjoyed 32 years of watching their family grow. Family was the most important thing to Phil and he was blessed with a big one. Three children, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren loved each minute that was spent with Papa Phil, not to mention the tall tales and pearls of wisdom along the way.

In addition to his wife, Cindy, survivors include his daughter Laurie Bly of Stroud, Erin Mathes and her husband David of Davenport, and Jason Martin and his wife Sara of Chandler. A lifetime of oilfield work and being a cattleman filled most of Phil’s days leading up to his retirement three years ago. Since then, Phil enjoyed spending most of his time enjoying family and getting to be part of all of the activities that go along with it. Phil was a good man and undoubtedly will be missed by many.
