Bobbie J. (Pendergraft) Blue

March 6, 1933 ~ December 20, 2012

Bobbie J. Blue, 79, of Bartlesville, died at 11:07 P.M. on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center.

Services for Bobbie will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, December 24, 2012 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial services and cremation are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

A memorial has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the 55 Plus Activity Center, 1400 S.E. Washington Blvd., Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006.

Bobbie was born as Bobbie J. Pendergraft on March 6, 1933 at Hatten, Arkansas. She grew up and received her education at Lenapah, Oklahoma where she played basketball for the Lenapah Eagles and graduated in 1951. She was then employed with the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Bartlesville for several years. She was married to Robert Eugene "Bob" Blue on March 28, 1952 at Bentonville, Arkansas. They made their home in Bartlesville and she later began her employment with the Gas Service Company from which she retired in the 1990's as the office supervisor after 25 years of service. Mr. Blue preceded her in death on December 12, 2002 and she continued her home in Bartlesville. She was later married to Marion O. Jordan on September 9, 2006 in Bartlesville. She was a member of Credit Women International and the 55 Plus Activity Center. She was active in following her children's and granddaughter's activities and she loved to dance.

Survivors include Marion O. Jordan of Bartlesville, one son, David Lee Blue of Broken Arrow, one daughter, Karen E. Sack and husband Rob of Bartlesville, two sisters, Pauline Hull and husband Jim of Coffeyville, Kansas and Carol Brown and husband Jim of Marshall, Missouri, one sister-in-law, Shirley Pendergraft of Leavenworth, Kansas, and granddaughter Emily Towers and husband Anthoney of Bartlesville, a grandson, Brandon Lee Blue of San Antonio, Texas and a great grandchild due in March 2013, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Velma Yockey and Nadine Yockey, a brother, O.B. Pendergraft and another brother in infancy.
