Donna Sue (Phillips) Blubaugh

Donna Sue (Phillips) Blubaugh
March 3, 1934 ~ July 15, 2022

Donna Sue Phillips Blubaugh passed from this life on Friday July 15, 2022. She was born to Fred D and Audie L Phillips on May 3, 1934 and was 88 years old at the time of her death. Donna was married to John Stephen Blubaugh of Medford, Oklahoma since August 26, 1969 and they had a long lasting and loving marriage for nearly 54 years.

Donna is preceded in death by a new born baby son, Monty Ray Smock; her parents, and her dear younger brothers, Fred and Geary Phillips.

She is survived by her husband, Steve of Medford; her daughter, Barbara Smock Hudgins and husband, Dana Hudgins of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; three grandchildren including Kirstien Miller of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, David McKay of Enid, Oklahoma, and Andrew McKay of Pennsylvania. Donna was ‘Nana the Great’ to seven great grandchildren including Brayden, Sierra, Lyric, Isaiah, Elisabeth, Leilani and Vincent.

Donna worked as a pet store manager in Grapevine, Texas for 20 years. She loved to cook and was a great pie baker and shared her pies with those she loved and appreciated. She loved animals, flowers, the white sand beaches of Florida’s coast lines, and everything Texas. Donna was a world traveler in her thirties and her experiences living in Morocco and Sicily gave her an appreciation for others and their circumstances most individuals do not share. She made friends everywhere she went. Donna’s kindness, her sense of humor, and her “feisty” personality endeared her to those who may have only known her a short time and, those who were fortunate enough to know her well, are left with happy and loving memories.

Donna chose to be cremated so there are no plans for a service at this time but a celebration of her life will be scheduled and announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Medford. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
