Patrick Joseph "Pat" Block, 84, of Oklahoma City, died Friday, October 25, 2019, at his home. The son of Winslow Michael “Watsie” Block and Mary Ann “Marie” (Chwalinski) Block, he was born May 28, 1935 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Pat was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as a service supervisor for a heavy equipment rental company. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and collecting antique firearms. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Onie Block; sister, Barb McGinley; and an Uncle, Joe Chwalinski.
Patrick is survived by one daughter, Patrice Meeks and her husband, Tim, of Blanchard; two granddaughters, Amy Stanley and her husband, Evan, of Blanchard and Brittney Meeks of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Virginia Weiss and Helen Zent and husband, Lee, all of Minnesota; a brother-in-law, Pat McGinley of Minnesota; his nephews; Terry McGinley, Bill Hansen and Steve Zent; his nieces, Charlotte Kokkinen, Debbie Lucker, Lori Peickert, Shelly Boss and Shanon Weiss; along with 21 great nieces/nephews and 7 great great nieces/nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
