William Michael Blochowiak, resident of Meeker, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at the age of 79. A funeral ceremony for Bill will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Walker Funeral Chapel with Reverend Boodali Damian Lawrence officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force.
Bill was born on July 20, 1942, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to his parents, CJ and Mary Blochowiak. Bill served in the United States Air Force from 1961 until his retirement in 1994. Bill graduated from college with a master’s degree in accounting and worked as a computer programmer at Tinker Air Force Base. Bill enjoyed being outdoors riding his tractor and farming. He was an avid hunter and trained hunting dogs. He was a member of the Sooner Retriever Club and the Tulsa Retriever Club. Bill was a supporter of United Cerebral Palsy, Willows, and North Cliff Gardens.
Bill was a devout Catholic, staunch Republican and dutiful patriot. Family always came first, and his grandkids were his pride and joy. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, CJ and Mary Blochowiak and brother, Ed Blochowiak.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Blochowiak of Meeker, OK, daughter Mikel Forehand and husband Michael of Centerton, Arkansas, son, Billy Blochowiak and wife Kaylie of Meeker, OK, step-son, Kirk Jackson and wife Shawna of Jenks, OK, step-son, Kyle Jackson and husband Jody Maddox of Guthrie, OK, grandsons, Riley and Reese Jackson, Miles, Max, Miller, and Morgan Forehand, granddaughter, Ember Blochowiak, sister, Mary Ann Blochowiak of Edmond, brothers, Charles Blochowiak of Ponca City, OK and Dick Blochowiak of McLoud, OK.
