Michael Dane Blaisdell

September 10, 1950 ~ August 2, 2023

Michael Dane Blaisdell, 72, of Blanchard passed away on August 1, 2023, in his home. The son of Leo James Blaisdell and Betty Jean (Morris) Blaisdell, Michael was born on September 10, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Michael served in the United States Army from 1972 – 1978 where he worked as a tactical wire operations specialist and a light air defense artillery crewman. After his discharge from the military, Michael worked a variety of different jobs, but also put his military training into use working as a cable splicer for a telephone company.

Michael and Amber Delynn Brant had met before Michael went into the army, but after almost 50 years of being separated they reunited and married on June 17, 2021. He and Amber made their home in Blanchard where he lived until his passing.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, CJ.

He is survived by his wife, Amber Delynn Blaisdell of Blanchard; one daughter, Veronica Davis of Bowie, TX; two step daughters, Glenda Tange and husband Wayne of Blanchard and Misty Beard and husband Johnny of Shelbyville, TN; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Sierra, and Cody; six step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, Ender, Elliot, and Evelyn; several step great grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Schwartz of Warsaw, MO and Diana Blaisdell of Lake Dallas, TX.; and several other loving family members.

There will be a time of viewing at 2:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Sunday, August 6, 2023, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will be rendered at 3:00 P.M.
