Tena (Crowell) Blackwood

September 11, 1964 ~ September 9, 2010

A memorial service in honor of Tena "Crow" Blackwood of Coalgate, OK was held at 2:00 p.m. at the Phillips at the Grace Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Gary Weeden officiating.

Tena was born September 11, 1964 in Oklahoma City to James Alfred Crowell and Lillian "Tow" Crowell and passed away September 9, 2010 in Coalgate at the age of 45. She graduated from Tupelo High School in Tupelo, OK and went on to complete her Bachelors in Druant, OK. Tena was a longtime resident of Coalgate and loved arts, crafts, crossword puzzles, cooking, board games, her family and family gatherings.

Mrs. Blackwood is survived by her daughter, Christina Blackwood of Coalgate; her mother, Lillian Crowell of OKCD; two brothers, Doyle Crowell and his wife Glenda of Ada, and Leslie Crowell and his wife Brenda of OKC; two sisters, Norma Buster and her husband Eddie of Coalgate and Wanda Peck and her husband Ed of Centrahoma, along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Blackwood; one daughter, Jennifer Rose Mason; her father, James Alfred Crowell; one brother, James Dewey Crowell; one sister, Carol Wade; and her grandparents, George and Zona Tow, George and Mary Lou (Hogue) Johnston and James F. Crowell

Tena will be missed by all who knew her.
